Final Report Now Available
CycleFest has now been and gone. A report on how the festival went is available to download here. This website will remain online and will be updated in the new year. We are currently looking at continuing CycleFest and will let you know as soon as possible. In the meantime, you may wish to receive our monthly cycling newsletter - if so email us at info(AT)cyclefest.org.uk.
From May 30th - 7th June CycleFest will offer a wide range of rides, talks, film showings and workshops across the whole of South Lakeland in Cumbria.
For a full calendar of events click here. A leaflet containing details of all the rides and talks can be downloaded here.
Our aim is to get everyone enthused about cycling - whether you are a regular rider or have never picked up a bike before!
To start the event there will be a one day festival at Abbot Hall Park in
Kendal
on Saturday
30th May which promises to be a fantastic day out for
everyone and a
celebration of all things cycling. Following this, on
Sunday 31st May there will be a series of bike rides
for riders of all abilities to take part in.
During the week and the following weekend there will be a range of talks, workshops and film showings together with more bike rides to keep your cycling enthusiasm going.
The CycleFest has something for everyone - whether you are a regular or infrequent rider, or have never ridden before. We will be covering every aspect of cycling - mountain biking, over 50's, leisure rides, road rides, stunt bikes, cycling for mobility or visually impaired, and more!
Take your time to explore the website and see what the festival has to offer.
Whether you want to learn bicycle maintenance, get free cycle training,
go
on an organised ride, watch some bicycle powered film screenings, get more involved in your local cycling club or are simply curious - the CycleFest
has something for everyone.
